Creamy Dill Cucumber Salad with Mayonnnaise
Create this fresh creamy dill cucumber salad with mayonnaise in under 10 minutes. Made with just a few ingredients, it makes the perfect side dish for any meal.
- 2 cucumbers
- ½ sweet white onion
- ⅓ cup finely chopped fresh dill
- 1 tsp garlic clove minced
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp white wine vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
Thinly slice 2 cucumbers. I use a mandolin slicer for perfect cutting.
Finely chop ½ sweet white onion and mix with cucumbers in a large bowl.
In a separate bowl; mix 1 minced garlic clove, ⅓ cup finely chopped dill, ⅓ cup mayonnaise, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp white wine vinegar, salt, and pepper.
Add dressing to cucumbers. Mix well.
You can serve immediately, but for best results, chill in refrigerator an hour before serving.
Note: You can use dry garlic and dill.
