Easy Homemade Mushroom Salt Recipe- a delicious flavored salt
Making this mushroom salt is simple, easy, and delicious. With only 3 ingredients, you can make your own batch. It is a great salt for gifts or to have on hand in your kitchen.
- 2 lbs sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup sea salt
- 1 tbs red chili flakes
Rinse mushrooms until completely clean.
Dehydrate mushrooms in your dehydrator according to manufacture's instructions. They must be completely dehydrated and brittle when done. Approximately 15 hours.
In a blender, grind mushrooms, salt, and chili flakes until completely broken down.
Store in an airtight container. Add over any dish that you would add salt to give it a new flavor.
