  • 1 regular pie crust unbaked
  • ½ cup butter salted
  • 1 oz semi sweet baking chocolate bar
  • 1 oz unsweetened baking chocolate bar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Melt ½ cup butter, 1 oz semi sweet baking chocolate bar, and 1 oz unsweetened baking chocolate bar in a sauce pan on low heat.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat 1 cup sugar, 2 eggs, and 1 tsp of vanilla.
  • Slowly mix in melted chocolate in mixing bowl with sugar mixture. Blend until fully mixed.
  • Pour chocolate into regular sized pie shell.
  • Bake 35 minutes.
  • Remove from oven. Cool on baking rack until completely cooled. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.

Note: You do not need to pre-bake pie shell.
Note: Use good chocolate baking bars! The chocolate is the star ingredient in this recipe. I have used cheap chocolate before and it did not turn out as good as using better quality chocolate!
