Ingredients
You will only need the following ingredients to make stuffed Italian sausages.
- Italian sausage links-I prefer sweet Italian sausage, but you can use spicy or mild Italian sausage links.
- Mozzarella sticks- Mozzarella sticks are easy and melt great for this recipe. However, you can substitute with mozzarella balls or shredded mozzarella.
- Marinara sauce- I recommend Rao's Marinara sauce. It tastes homemade and is full of flavor. However, you can use whatever marinara sauce you like. I use a small jar for this recipe. However, if you are adding the sausage to pasta, use a large jar. Use half of the sauce for baking the sausages and half of the marinara to mix in with the pasta.

- Top sauce with the stuffed sausages.
- Pour remaining sauce over the sausages.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. Rest 5 or more minutes before serving.

Tip: If you want to serve Italian stuffed sausages with peppers and onions, cook your pepper and onions separately. Cooking the peppers and onions with the Italian sausages will make your dish watery.
