These Reese's S'mores add a little twist to the traditional S'mores treat.
There is something special about sitting around an outdoor fire and nothing goes better with an outdoor fire than S'mores! These Reese's S'mores add a little twist to the traditional S'mores treat.
One of my favorite yearly vacations with my family is going to the mountains.
It is so calm, clean, and peaceful. In every angle of surroundings is a scene of beauty and awe.
You can't help but appreciate God's work and magnitude while being engulfed in the massive manifestations of the mountains. The scenery relaxes you and sets you back a pace. It allows you stop, think, let it all set in, and chill. Instead of the fast rush and hustle of your normal speed, you begin to operate on Mountain time.
If I could be anyplace in the world… it would be the mountains. It is my happy place.
One of our favorite things to do while in the mountains is build a fire at night. We sit back and allow the heat from the fire warm us from the damp Mountain evening chill. Lightening Bugs work their magic like little fairies flickering in and out of the landscaping. Crickets chirp, owls hoot, and wildlife rustle in the background. Stars sparkle in the sky.
It becomes the perfect opportunity to break out the marshmallows!
My family is particular on how our marshmallows are roasted. My daughter and son like their marshmallows burnt to a crisp with a gooey, oozing, messy center. My husband and I however, like it slowly toasted on the outside with a soft, melted center.
Reese's S'mores
Instead of the traditional s'mores, we made Reese's S'mores. We replaced the plain chocolate for a Reese's. Are you wondering if this could be good? Do you really need to ask? Think about it for for a moment…. A softened, melted chocolate and peanut butter cup under a melted marshmallow in between two crunchy graham crackers…. Of course it is good!
If you haven't made a Reese's S'mores, you need to!
Look at that! Don't you want a bite? You know you do.
Try it! Your day is always better with chocolate and as they say, "There's no wrong way to eat a Reese's." Enjoy. xoxo
