Is this slow cooker recipe as good as baked homemade traditional lasagna? Of course not, but it is a strong second! Picture this-Layers of cheese, sauce, meat, cheese filled ravioli...whats not to like?
It is an easy dinner recipe, with a handful of ingredients, perfect for busy nights, when you have too many things to do. I hope you love it as much as we do. Enjoy! Xoxo ~Katie.

Ingredient notes and substitutions
You will need the following simple ingredients to make this slow cooker ravioli lasagna recipe.
- marinara- I use Rao's marinara. It is hands down the best if you are not making it from scratch; and honestly, it is better than most homemade sauces.
- ground beef-You can substitute with ground Italian sausage, chicken or turkey.
- frozen cheese ravioli-The cheese filled ravioli will give you the ricotta cheese flavor that is traditionally in lasagna. Frozen spinach and cheese ravioli is a great option if you want to add in an additional vegetable.
- mozzaralla
- parmesan-I recommend shredded.
- Italian seasoning-If you don't have Italian seasoning, substitute with 1 teaspoon dried basil and 1 teaspoon dried oregano.

Steps
Follow these easy steps to make crockpot ravioli lasagna.
- In a large skillet, crumble and brown ground beef on medium-high heat. Drain off any excess fat and mix in Italian seasoning mix.
- Add a layer of marinara sauce to the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Layer half of the bag of cheese ravioli on top of the marinara.
- Layer half of the cooked ground beef over the ravioli.
- Add a layer of the marinara over the ground beef.
- Layer half of the mozzarella over the marinara. Repeat steps 3-5 by adding an additional layer of the remaining ravioli, ground beef, marinara, and mozzarella cheese.
- Top with Parmesan cheese.
- Cook on low heat for 3 ½ to 4 hours in your slow cooker.

Variations
Do you prefer a meatless lazy lasgana? No problem! Skip the meat and cook as is. Or substitute with your favorite sautéed vegetables such as mushrooms, carrots, zucchini, spinach, and/or onion. (You do want to precook your vegetables before adding to the raviola lasagna or it will become watery.)
This lazy crock pot lasagna would be great with a green salad and my copycat Olive Garden Salad Dressing!
Do you need to thaw the ravioli?
You do not need to thaw the ravioli. Simply add it frozen with the rest of the ingredients and allow the slow cooker do the work.

Can you use refrigerated ravioli?
Yes. If you prefer to substitute frozen ravioli with refrigerated ravioli, reduce cooking time by one hour.
How do you store leftovers?
Store leftover lazy lasagna in an airtight container up to 5 days in the refrigerator or 3 months in the freezer.
