"This no-bake Oreo dessert was a showstopper at our family gathering! So creamy, chocolatey, and easy to put together. Everyone wanted the recipe!"

    ★★★★★- Catalina

While the cream cheese and chocolate pudding layers are tasty, the star of this dessert is the buttery Oreo crust. Man is it good! Whenever I make this, everyone LOVES it!!! It is great to make ahead of time and no cooking is involved!

I hope you love it as much as we do. Enjoy! Xoxo ~Katie.

Chocolate Oreo Lasagna ingredients-Oreo cookies, chocolate pudding mix, milk, cool whip, cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, mini chocolate chips

    Ingredient notes and substitutions

You will need the following ingredients to make this Oreo Lasagna recipe.

    • chocolate Oreo cookies-I prefer the original Oreo cookies to the double stuffed for this recipe.
    • butter
    • powdered sugar- You can substitute with ¼ cup granulated sugar. However, powdered sugar helps stabilize the cool whip to maintain its shape and stiffness. Granulated sugar may not dissolve in the cool whip creating a grainy texture.
    • cream cheese
    • whole milk- Whole milk will help create a thicker chocolate pudding layer. However, you can substitute with low fat milk.
    • cool whip- I prefer cool whip over real whipped cream because it continues to hold its shape better for the layers. However, you can substitute with homemade whipped cream if you prefer.
    • instant chocolate pudding mix-I use traditional chocolate instant pudding mix for this recipe, but the chocolate fudge pudding mix would also be delicious.
    • mini chocolate chips- The chocolate chips are used for a pretty garnish and add an extra flavor of chocolate. However, these are completely optional and can be omitted.

The full recipe with ingredient measurements are located in the recipe card at the bottom of the post.
