*This is a sponsored post by Drizly. All opinions are my own.

Drizly asked me to develop a fun Easter cocktail recipe.

As a child, the Cadbury Creme Egg was one of my favorite candies that I looked forward to every Easter. To this day, I traditionally indulge on a few of those rich chocolate creme filled eggs even as an adult.

I thought a Cadbury Creme Egg Martini would be the perfect Easter cocktail to create as a tribute to my favorite childhood Easter candy!

Martini in a glass with Cadbury eggs beside it.

Hmm... a chocolate martini that tastes like my favorite candy.... win! win! One drink of this little sweet concoction and you will be in a very happy place, I promise.

What goes in this Easter cocktail?

For this Cadbury Creme Egg Martini, you will need:

    • vanilla vodka
    • creme de cacoa
    • white chocolate liqueur butter scotch schnapps

Doesn't that sound dreamy? Vanilla vodka has a wonderful vanilla smell and offers a nicely sweet vanilla flavor. It is a wonderful compliment to the white chocolate liqueur.

Have you tried the white chocolate liqueur before? To me, it is like heaven! It gives a soft, creamy, velvety white chocolate flavor. I could drink the two combined all by themselves!!

However, because I wanted a true Cadbury Creme Egg flavor, I added the creme de cocoa for the chocolate flavor.

The butter scotch schnapps was added to resemble the gooey flavor in the middle of center of the chocolate egg.

These spirits combined create an "eggscellent" Easter Cocktail. However beware!! They sip easy and if you drink too many, you will be tipsy!

Drizly is a cool service that allows you to shop online for beer, wine, and liquor from local retailers and have it delivered to your door. You can order all of the ingredients listed on your smart phone!

They also have extras you can order like mixers, syrups, rim salt, and garnishes.

You know I love a good Bloody Mary. You can make my Bloody Mary Infused Vodka Recipe and order the vodka, Bloody Mary Mixer, and rim salt all from Drizly! How easy is that?

    Cocktail tip

*Cocktail Tip- Fill that shaker really well with ice. Shake it really good. This Easter cocktail tastes the best cold and icy. Those little ice crystals make the drink pop.

It will almost resemble a light, creamy milkshake if shaken correctly.

     Cadbury Creme Egg Martini

Ever wonder what is inside a Cadbury Creme Egg?

Inside that delicious chocolate hard shell egg is a creamy, sweet white and yellow fondant mixture.

The center has always been my personal favorite part. As a kid, I would eat the top off the egg. Then I would eat the center. Then finish the chocolate.

As an adult, I eat it much more dignified by eating the chocolate and yolk together... ha! ha!
