This real simple Creamy Parmesan Salad Dressing is packed with amazing flavor and can be made in five minutes.

This Creamy Parmesan Salad Dressing is super easy to make. Made with parmesan, lemon, peppercorn, and garlic; this salad dressing is absolutely delicious!

If you read my Homemade Chunky Blue Cheese Salad Dressing post, you know that I have this thing against store bought salad dressings.
There are a few store bought salad dressings that actually taste good, but most of them are made with artificial ingredients and have a blah, blah flavor.
Homemade Salad Dressing is one of the easiest things to make and you get such a big bang result for your labor.

Ingredients
You will need the following ingredients to make:
- Dijon mustard- do not substitute with a different type of mustard
- mayonnaise-do not substitute with Miracle Whip
- lemon juice
- white wine vinegar
- shredded parmesan- Freshly shredded is best. If you substitute with grated parmesan, the flavor will be a little more mild and the texture will be even thicker.
- Worcestershire sauce
- garlic-I prefer fresh, but you can substitute with garlic powder
Note: Use a Gluten Free Mayo, Dijon Mustard, and Worcestershire Sauce and this recipe will be Gluten Free.

Creamy Parmesan Salad Dressing Recipe
To make this creamy parmesan salad dressing, you throw all the stuff into a food processor or blender…
I use my Cuisinart DFP-14BCNY 14-Cup Food Processor, Brushed Stainless Steel - Silver ( I absolutely love it. It is one of my favorite gadgets in the kitchen.)
And it comes out like this…

Now doesn't that look so much better than that preserved for years, bland, made with tons of weird artificial ingredients that you have no idea what they are, shelf salad dressing?

This Real Simple Creamy Parmesan Salad Dressing is similar to a Caesar Salad Dressing except I add in a little Dijon Mustard to give it a kick.
The result is PERFECTION!It is creamy and peppery with just a little tang! HELLO!
If you want to get a little braver, throw in some hot red chili flakes… but my household doesn't like their dressings spicy.
Therefore, I just garnish my salads with the hot red chili flakes because I love all things spicy.
This dressing kicks up any regular salad.
Throw in some grilled chicken or grilled shrimp and you have a healthy low carb meal.
I have even used this recipe on a Greek Salad and it was FABULOUS! The feta tastes great with this recipe.

Kristin
This is soooo delicious! I was craving a salad from a favorite restaurant but didn't want to waste food I already had and found this recipe for the dressing to mimic it. Perfect

Awesome dressing and suits my Keto plan!
Kristin
This dressing is incredible!! I have made it several times, and the whole family loves it. Thank you!

Tangy and delicious. I'm trying various salad dressing recipes with varying degrees of luck. The vinegrette parm dressing I got from a different website tasted like diesel fuel. (Maybe the olive oil had gone off?) Anyway, back to the winners category with this one. Flavorful and with just the right texture. Also extremely easy to make.
Thanks for sharing this, Katie

We just made your Creamy Parmesan Dressing....Incredible....Thank you!!!
Could you just please tell me the serving size. It's probably there, but I am missing it.
Thanks so much!

I have never posted a review, EVER, until now. Katie, you nailed it! This dressing is beyond restaurant quality.....best I’ve ever tasted! The Parmesan cheese in combination with the Worcestershire sauce and garlic bring this dressing to a heavenly realm. Thank you for making the food world a better place!

I’ve made this for my family multiple times it is a family favorite! Better than anything commercial on Caesar salad or any salad for that matter. The fresh cracked pepper is essential.
Kelley Wilkens
Absolutely delicious! You are correct when you said you’d never want to buy a store bought salad dressing after making this. So, so, so yum!
Liz
Yum! Super delicious! Definitely a recipe to make again and again!
Kristin
I LOVE this recipe. It's amazing! I don't put in all the pepper, but besides that I follow the recipe to a T.
Thank you!
Cindy
Delicious dressing! It was salad night at our house and we are typically a store bought blue cheese dressing family. However we were out and this week we were only using what we had on hand....BOOM your recipe was the winner of dinner!
Lana Dong
yes..great recipe. we add just a couple springs of chives and parsley finely chopped before mixing dressing. makes it look fresh but not overwhelming herby. Also, we use spicy dijon..OMG!
FT
Much better than expected, exactly as I had hoped. This is going to be a new staple at our dinner table!

Found this recipe and tried today. It is really tasty, and just the right consistency over my chicken Caesar salad. I agree with all the 5-star reviews. It’s quick and easy to make. So refreshing from the store bought brands. Will definitely make again.

Wish you had include amounts for the various ingredients.
Katie Crenshaw

Is it possible to skip the mayo? Is there an alternative?
Irina

I’m kinda mean about posting comments…but I will make an exception because this was REALLY yummy. I didn’t have white wine vinegar, but it’s a teensy amounts so I used red wine vinegar and I only used one clove garlic, cuz I know how I like things and it was SO GOOD. If you grew up in the 80’s and remember Coco’s “house” dressing - this recipe is what that dressing wanted to be. Similar, yet 100% better. So good. Thanks for posting it!

I was looking for a recipe to help me use up an excess of Parmesan cheese. This is a winner! It's even good to dip vegetables in!
Brenda
I absolutely love this dressing. I wont use anything else now. I was wondering though, what is the serving size on this recipe? I see that it has 152 cals. Is that per serving or per recipe? It also states that it has 12 servings, but not the amount per serving. It's hard to believe one serving would be 152 cal.
Katie Crenshaw
The serving size is about 3 tablespoons.
