I recently partnered with Chop House Steak Burgers. Have you heard of them? They are frozen steak burgers sold at our local grocery stores. Honestly, when they reached out to me, I was hesitant about trying them. I haven't had the best experience with frozen burgers in my past. I was pleasantly surprised when I cooked my first one!

The scoop on Chop House Steak Burgers

The great thing about Chop House Steak Burgers is they use USDA Choice meat. They are shaped like homemade patties. They cook in about 9 or less minutes depending on how well you want your steak burger done.

The result is an amazingly moist, juicy, flavorful burger. I mean the juice just oozes out with each bite. You definitely will need a napkin.

They are definitely restaurant quality. You can break out these bad boys when entertaining and no-one will ever know they were ever frozen. I was very impressed with these burgers and I have become a huge fan. I am going to keep a box of these in my freezer to have on hand for any time I want to cook a good burger!

Let's talk about these fixings!! A great burger deserves great toppings right? I love a tasty bacon burger. I wanted to create a delicious gourmet bacon burger recipe that would rival any of your favorite burger joints. Blueberries are in season; and brie, blueberries, and bacon are a fantastic combination. So I thought, why not pair it with a burger? With such a winning trio, you can't ruin it with boring iceberg lettuce, right? Arugula has a lovely peppery taste that balances that salty sweet bacon blueberry combination. None of these toppings outshine the star player in that bun. That steak burger patty shines right through.

    • 1 ½ tbs molasses
    • ¼ cup brown sugar
    • 2 tbs apple cider vinegar

To Make Brie Bacon Burger with Blueberry Chipotle Barbecue Sauce

    • While blueberry sauce is cooling, grill Chop House Steak Burgers according to directions.
    • Add brie cheese on steak burger patties the last minute of grilling to allow the brie cheese to melt.
    • To assemble: Add arugula to hamburger bun, top with steak burger patty, top with 2 tbs of blueberry chipotle barbecue sauce, add 2 slices of bacon cut into 4 pieces, add 1 slice of red onion, top with the hamburger bun and serve!

    Notes

Chophouse Steak Burgers comes with 6 steak burger patties. There is enough Blueberry Chipotle Barbecue Sauce for the 6 burgers. If you want to cook all six, double the remaining ingredients.
