Building the Ultimate Holiday Antipasto Board

    Holiday Antipasto Platter

With all the shopping and decorating keeping you busy for the holidays, it might become overwhelming thinking about hosting a party. However, antipasto platters are an easy and beautiful way to entertain your guests. Here are 5 tips on making the perfect stress-free holiday antipasto platter.

    holiday antipasto platter

Tip one: Think of red, green, and white holiday colors. The Fresh Market is the one-shop place for all of your antipasto platter needs. Choose from their gourmet selection white cheeses, green olives, green pickles, and red peppers. Plate their olives, peppers, nuts, pickles, and cheese on small red, green, and white dishes to tie everything together. Use fresh red cranberries and green rosemary from their produce department to accent your antipasto board with the festive colors. From the floral department, cut simple white baby's breath stems for miniature centerpieces to add interest and depth to the platter.

Tip Two:  Keep your homemade dishes simple, quick and easy. The Fresh Market has delicious premade bruschetta bread. Top it with the bacon, fig jam, and goat cheese and you have one incredible appetizer. It only takes 5 minutes to make! Bacon Wrapped Dates Stuffed with Manchego  are also a simple, quick, and easy addition to an antipasto board.

    Ultimate Holiday Antipasto Platter

Tip Three: Add ready-made dishes for less prep, more time to party. The Fresh Market's curried cauliflower, cooked jumbo wild America shrimp, and hummus are perfect ready-made additions for a holiday antipasto platter.

Tip Four: Add variety. The Fresh Market's cheese straws, The Fresh Market's Cayenne Crunch, The Fresh Market's Spicy Sriracha  Nuts, and The Fresh Market's Lavish Seed Overload Crackers are excellent selections to incorporate onto the platter for crunch and texture. The Fresh Market is known for providing a curated product selection of specialty foods with exceptional quality and the finest ingredients. Choose from several varieties of their cured meats, gourmet cheeses, and olives for small tastings. The best thing about an antipasto tray is to eat a little of everything.Schild Shiraz & Oyster Bay Pinot Noir

Tip Five: Don't forget the wine! Nothing goes better with cheese than wine. I suggest the Schild Estate Barossa Shiraz and the Oyster Bay Pinot Noir. Your guests will love these wines. They pair beautifully with the meats, cheese, and cracker assortments.
